Job Purpose:

Coordinator of Training and Professional Services events within the Education Services group of the Open Solutions Division of Fiserv.

Position Purpose:

The Senior Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating (and in some instances, assuming a fully independent role) for professional services and training program identification and procurement, including logistics, finalizing all facility contracts, preparing both Instructor and participant materials, communicating with clients, participants, managers, and facilitators.

This role will also be solely responsible for the maintenance & upkeep of the Learning Management System acting as system administrator for training related course deployment and report generation.

The candidate will work as part of the Education Services team, supporting Training and Professional Services initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

I. Supports the Director, Training and Professional Service Managers concerning training and best practices including, client/employee relations, documentation, audits, related support and special projects.

II. Conducts needs assessments that determine what types of service and training should be provided to clients and employees.  Analyzing the skills that the workforce as a whole needs to allow the organization to move forward toward accomplishing its strategic goals and objectives. Organize on and off-site internal training programs. Participate in the design and interpretation of training needs.

III. Course Management

a. Establish a calendar that details training opportunities (both external and internal).

b. Develop Training Plans for implementing clients, which includes regular client meeting to measure success of client training.

c. Assimilate and maintain department data, including but not limited to participant training records including annual participant enrollment, prepare reports for attendance, class evaluations, training programs / initiatives and other documentation as requested.

d. Process and track invoicing for training programs.

e. Administer the development of self-paced training curriculum.

f. Serve as point contact for enterprise-wide online content delivery.

g. Serves as point of contact for client and employee related issues (technical, login, reports) related to LMS (Learning Management System) online content.

h. Serves as LMS Administrator including participant enrollment, course loading, and related system reporting features, both ad hoc and custom.

i. Marketing available training opportunities internally. This includes posting training opportunities on the internal intranet, creating email announcements and communicating with managers.

j. Assimilate and distribute client evaluations, prepare monthly metric reporting / tracking

IV. Vendor Management

a. Ensure training expenditures do not exceed the budgeted amount.

b. Ensure proper facility management of all training courses.

c. Develop and maintain a budget tracking and reporting system, to process and track invoices for all vendor billing.

V. Project Management

a. Accountable for providing resources availability for both training and professional services, in-line with project scope, to the Operation Engagement Team.

b. Initiate and request project ID’s concerning client engagements.

c. Trigger completed projects Client Engagement Team for project revenue recognition.

d. Create and maintain an effort-driven project schedule for each project (training/professional services) by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and critical paths.

e. Anticipate and identify risks and issues that may impact deliverables and develop and implement mitigation and corrective actions.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5 + years of customer services, preferably within the financial services industry

• Demonstrated Project Management skills in a multi-project environment

• 2+ years’ experience in curriculum design and development

• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially written and oral communication, organization and facilitation skills

• Superior interpersonal, presentational, written, communications and change-management skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and SharePoint

• Preferred knowledge of eLearning software such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Live Meeting, synchronous tools, Photoshop, Firefly

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, learn multiple systems and processes quickly in order meet crucial deadlines and commitments

• Team player who is self-starting and independent

• The ability to work remotely as well as have a strong work ethic

• The ability to travel up to 30% of the time, this may include weekend and holidays
