Work within the matrix reporting environment with accountAlliance Director, GCS Regional Finance, Dallas (corporate) andMemphis (client) accounting on all aspects of accounting requirements andreporACCOUNTING FOCUS:Manage and oversee the work of the general accounting functions, performdetail P.and.L review and variance explanationsEnsure that standard accounting policies, practices, and procedures arebeing utilizedComprehensive knowledge of contract terms, establish control procedures toensure contract performance and readiness for audits and financial results arein compliance with contractManage and monitor the development, analysis, evaluation, coordinationand implementation of client financial and management reportingrequirements, work with assigned dedicated client accountant on allday-to-day and month-end accounting procedures for customer, analyzingexpense and balance sheet activity, coordination of vendor payables,streamlined procedures for billing/collectingWork with assigned dedicated corporate accountant on all day-to-day andmonth-end accounting procedures for the account results, including P.and.Lactivity (management fees, fee splits, gross-up entries, reclasses,etc.), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals); accountsreceivable / cash application, ensures accounting is performed incompliance wiSupervise, coach, motivate and evaluate staff if applicableFINANCE FOCUS:Provides monthly reporting and communication of account results to AllianceDirector, GCS Regional and LMA managementIdentifies, creates and distributes monthly financial reports(P.and.L's, GL Detail, A/R, forecasts, etc.) and any requestedad hoc reporting, responsible for all variance reporting requirementsCoordinates strategic financial plan processPrepare, create and analyze financial forecasts and budgets - client andcorporate, responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analysisfunctionsResponsible for pricing models for new pursuits / renewals working with BizDev team and GCS FinanceConducts regular financial forecasting and budgeting analysis meetingsResponsible for scorecard reporting and metrics, value savings initiativetracking, reporting and communication of KPI performance and monitoringSupervise, coach, motivate and evaluate staff if applicableOPERATIONAL FOCUS:Continually refine and improve current methods and business processes toimprove productivity and improve communicationPartner with AD on overall client financial priorities and ens
