**This position is located on-site in Hooksett, NH.**

This position applies professional leadership expertise to claims processing staff for national/ regional accounts and Health Care Providers. The position manages front line Claims Processors, and ensures all timing and quality metrics are achieved or exceeded. The position focuses on customer and healthcare provider/facility satisfaction driving improvement in net promoter scores. Provides daily guidance and support to staff, assuring staff performance and development needs are met. Functions as a change leader to staff and matrix partners with regard to efficiency and quality.

**Responsibilities**

* Manages a team of 17-20+ front line staff
* Effects changes that result in efficiency changes and improved quality in collaborative and influential role with matrix partners
* Meets business financial objectives through effective implementation of expense targets while meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations and commitments
* Adapts and operates well in a fast-paced, changing environment, including new products and workflow processes
* Balances multiple team priorities to achieve Service Operations objectives
* Ensures team meets individual ,team level and account level compliance and performance metrics
* Stays current with external changes in the health care delivery system and makes adjustments as needed
* Manages the daily operations of the department. Prioritizes initiatives that support the Claims organization and their action plan objectives.
* Supports and facilitates compliance with all corporate policies for the claims processing staff.
* Manages staff effectively as measured by front line staff production, quality and competency metrics. Responsible for human resource management including hiring, mid-year and year-end performance reviews, performance management, coaching, development, training and compensation
* Provide effective communication to engage and develop cross functional staff in a virtual environment
* Effectively communicates organizational strategies to engage and drive desired behaviors
* Works to remove barriers for front line staff
* Continuous development of front line staff
* Exhibits managerial courage and consistently delivers the accurate and transparent messages to staff
* Delivers communications positively and is supportive of organizational goals and objectives
* Illustrates appropriate leadership behaviors
* Improves customer experience by enhancing accuracy and quality of the appeal process
* Conduct daily team huddles and regular 1:1 discussions with front line staff
* Partners with short and longer term capacity planners
* Manages and Measures work with data and facts
* Supports diversity by building an inclusive environment and creating a diverse team
* Supports corporate initiatives such as the mentoring program, training and leadership development
* Collaborates with matrix partners to ensure objectives and standards are met, policies and procedures are followed, gaps identified and closed, communications are clear

**Requirements**

* HS Diploma or equivalent required
* Supervisory/Management experience of direct reports highly preferred
* Healthcare experience preferred
* Demonstrated excellence in decision making skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Exhibit strong leaderships skills for driving change and process improvement
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, research, plan, coordinate and organize
