**Position Highlights**

FASCore, LLC, the retirement plan recordkeeping services division of Empower Retirement, currently has an opening for a Plan Services Account Coordinator. The Account Coordinator serves as a secondary point of contact representing Great-West Financial/FASCore for a block of retirement plan business. The individual responds to plan level inquiries from internal and external clients regarding operations of retirement plans on the recordkeeping system. The individual also manages daily communications with internal and external parties to maintain, improve and develop strong client relationships and manages and coordinates plan administration. The Account Coordinator also supports the Account Managers (primary point of contact) and management in their daily activities. Long-term projects and research items may also be assigned.

**Primary Responsibilities**

* Follows up on outstanding issues with internal functional areas as well as with external clients. Typical issues may be related to: plan set-up, plan documents, contributions, loans, distributions, enrollment, coordination of plan-level contact or plan changes, product changes, fund adds/eliminations, plan amendments, statement narratives, statement reviews, banking/division/pay center changes, forms customization or updates, and pricing changes/recoveries.
* Ensures issues are being resolved and clients are kept apprised of progress, providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Typically handles standard/routine problems/issues and refers more complex issue to senior staff.
* May participate in conference calls and meetings to assist plan sponsor to resolve questions or issues.
* Assists with the daily activities of the Account Manager staff by handling tickets to fulfill services requests, such as Contact Servicer changes, Social Security Number corrections, and fund changes.
* Completes simple recordkeeping system changes and performs routine maintenance as necessary.
* Acts as final QA for certain aspects of Account Manager's work.
* Assists with research and long-term projects.
* Over time and commensurate with experience, team member is expected to demonstrate overall proficiency, self-reliance and resourcefulness.

**Qualifications**

* Associates Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or a related field.
* A minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry
* Knowledge of ERISA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to retirement plans preferred.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
