**Position Overview**
Honeywell Building Systems has an opening for the position of Facility / Property Manager in the Edmonton region. Reporting to the Senior Facility Manager, the Facility Manager will work collaboratively to deliver on contractual obligations, provide excellent customer service and develop and lead the team and aligning them on company objectives, procedures and policy. Managing a growing portfolio of buildings, the Facility Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the facility support staff. Above average knowledge of buildings systems, contract and project management delivery experience would be key competencies required in this position. This is an excellent opportunity for the right results driven individual.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
* Initiate processes to proactively address current and potential problems in the facilities
* Monitor for results and take corrective action required for the contractual maintenance of facilities using the Computerized Maintenance System (CMMS)
* , and ensure delivery of contractually mandated requirements
* Work closely with Sr. Facility Manager on coordination of budget preparation, expectancies, goal setting, and problem solving
* Initiate processes to proactively address current and potential problems in the facilities.
* Assess current condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment assuring all equipment and facilities are working properly
* Assure adherence to corporate safety program and align team with the same priority
* Maintain accurate records on the condition of the equipment and other systems in the building
* Participate in development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities
* Manage client projects from inception to implementation
* Manage the service delivery of third party contracts
* Build solid relationships with internal and external clients

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Facility/Property Management
* Minimum 2 years of experience with Commercial/Institutional buildings
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a management/supervisory experience
* Demonstrated time management skills (scheduling / planning)
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of buildings systems (ABSA)
* Ability to Lead, build, control and motivate team members
* Ability to report and coordinate documents on a timely basis with an eye towards quality
Knowledge of building systems
* Detail oriented in the documentation process
* Demonstrated time management skills (scheduling / planning)
* Ability to manage projects
* Strong client relationship building skills
* Strong knowledge of and experience in using multiple computer platforms
* Ability to manage projects and contractual obligations
