* _Work Hours/Shift_*

Full-time Days; 7:00am – 7:00pm (3 shifts per week)

* To qualify, candidate must be an RN with at least 1 year of recent related hospital unit experience

* Bonus paid in full after 90 days

* 18 month contract applies. If candidate leaves Florida Hospital prior to completion of contract, they must pay back the full sign on bonus. Transfers forfeit any unpaid amounts. Terminations will pay back the full amount

* Must live outside 50 mile radius from 601 East Rollins Dr, Orlando, FL to qualify

* Rehires that terminated within the last 12 months are not eligible for bonus

_*Department Profile*_

Together, the critical care units at Florida Hospital Altamonte care for a broad spectrum of diagnoses including septic shock, acute brain attack, thoracotomy, vented respiratory failure, acute renal failure, brain attack, syncope, renal, GI disorders, pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, CHF, pre/post heart cath and medical/vascular conditions. The units also have trained monitor techs and health unit coordinators to complete orders and answer phones for the nursing staff. A nurse educator keeps the staff up-to-date with new technology, procedures, medications, etc.

* _Job Summary_*

As an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) with the Florida Hospital Altamonte, you will make providing service your priority while caring for the whole person in a faith-based atmosphere. The ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager in overall operations of their assigned unit. Is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM is skilled in coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The ANM Assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. Is supportive of change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

* BLS upon hire or within 90 days. CPR competency skills check biannually.

* ACLS certification within 90 days of hire. Must maintain ACLS certification.

* Specific experience as delineated by the unit of employment

* Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) (preferred)
