We are seeking a highly motivated individual to service and sell Property & Casualty & Life Insurance products to Virginia Farm Bureau members. We provide:

**Responsibilities:**
* Establish and develop new accounts: Utilize effective lead generation activities to identify new prospects; utilize sales closing skills to make sales
* Maintain, grow & service existing accounts: Conduct insurance reviews on existing customers to uncover additional insurance needs, answer questions, submit changes/additions/deletions to policies promptly.
* Support Company membership objectives
* Brokerage: Identify and utilize appropriate company to meet needs of VFB customers; keep abreast of and be knowledgeable in all product offerings from available Brokers
* Work with field claims adjusters and handle claims on accounts as directed by the Companies.
* Submit completed and accurate paperwork to Underwriting and respond promptly upon request
* Meet annual Agent objectives, standards and measurements
* Keep loss ratio commensurate with Company standards.
* Review Farm Bureau producer members’ accounts a minimum of once every three years.
* Maintain records and submit reports as requested by the Agency Manager.
