**Background information**
To operationally manage, analyse and drive the global portfolio of Functional Ingredients* with regards to the delivery of the agreed business and operational targets and objectives.
To support the Portfolio Procurement team in the preparation, and execution of Price tenders and negotiations. Challenge and present new portfolio opportunities.
To be the Procurement business partner to the Procurement team in the Regions, R&D; centres, Procurement Operations and various Category teams with regard to Functional Ingredients.

Vitamins, Sterol-esters, Fish Oil, Preservatives, Anti-Oxydants, Natural Colorants, High Intensity Sweeteners, Salt&Condiments;
We are currently recruiting a **Global Procurement Analyst Functional Ingredients.**
**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
* Support development and implementation of Global procurement strategies in Functional Ingredients via internal- , supplier- and market- data collection and analysis.
* To provide data-analysis on KPI’s in order to drive the Functional Ingredients team to meet their goals and objectives in the areas of (a.o.)
* Savings,
* Payment terms,
* Complexity Reduction,
* Quality- and Responsible sourcing Compliancy
* Sustainability.
* Deliver to the Team leader timely and accurate information to be used monthly, quarterly forecasting and reporting meetings and drive the actions coming from these meetings towards the Functional Ingredients team.
* Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate overview of portfolio in terms of spend, specifications, suppliers in close operation with the Regional team members
* Be able to drive improvements in the Procurement team by creating clarity and transparency
* Support the Global Procurement Managers with the tendering and negotiation process
* Support and monitor the Regional Deployment managers in the implementation of the Global Sourcing Strategy
* Support in preparing and executing of team/supplier/project-meetings/telcons and visits
* To handle diverse customer, supplier or operational issues when they arise
To support the management and maintenance of supplier relationships and contracts
**Skills & Experience**

* At least a Bachelor education (preferably Economics)
* 3-5 years of Procurement experience
* Act as a leader in the pool of procurement assistant in order to get full transparency and team alignment
* Hold people accountable
* Enjoy working with people and numbers
* Excellent communication skills
* Take ownership and responsibility, have energy and drive
* Very good analytical & commercial skills
* Good understanding of business economics
* Fully operational in Microsoft Office, SAP,
* Advanced in MS Excel
* Have business, organizational and cultural awareness
* Be result and solution oriented, being able to solve (unexpected) problems (in short notice)
* Project management and change management skills
* To be able to work in global virtual teams
* Fluent in English
* Dealing with the complexity of this portfolio in number of Commodities, Suppliers, Geographical spread and Categories

* Procurement Insights and Analysis: understand Category, Functional strategies and procurement requirements.
* Supply Strategy Development and Implementation (support Procurement Manager in collecting relevant information)
* Supply Market Intelligence and Analysis ( Understanding of portfolios and underlying markets, supports the PM in monthly/quarterly forecasts)
* Supplier Selection and Development (e.g. assessing supplier performance, screening suppliers, supplier qualification and on boarding)
*Cross Supply Chain Skills*

* Understanding Inbound Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing in correlation with own function
* Able to make connection with other SC functions and drive alignment in objectives
* Identifying cross Supply Chain Improvements based on the concept of “Total Cost”
