Director of Digital Marketing

The new Director of Digital Marketing role is critical to the future success of Arbor Networks. Arbor Networks is a leading provider of DDoS and advanced threat protection solutions for Enterprise and Service Providers networks. Founded in 2000 from a DARPA grant to support the stability and value of the Internet, Arbor Networks provides network security solutions making our company vital to the health of networking today. Arbor Networks is increasing its focus on Enterprise customers today, which means our audience is expanding. We are also leveraging our unique position in global networks to address fundamental problems of Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). This solution expansion redefines Arbor as a broader network security solutions company.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing programs including social demand generation and engagement, website optimization and other digital marketing activities, with a distinct focus on optimization, measurement and analytics.

Responsibilities

* Develop and lead digital marketing strategies that enable Arbor Networks to attain new customer acquisition goals and current customer engagement goals
* Design the right metrics across social channels, Web, SEO, paid search, PPC and display ads, SEM, mobile and email to manage those channels effectively

o Define daily/weekly/monthly KPIs – develop measurement and create reporting dashboard.

* Lead the design of the overall digital marketing ecosystem – including social and online advertising to support the company’s strategies and revenue goals
* Lead the creation of social media strategies and tactical plans, execute and track results
* Maintain strong social presence across all relevant social apps – keep social presence fresh and engaging
* Improve the design, usability, content and effectiveness (conversion) of company web properties
* Manage and inspire content creation and production from ideation to completion, such as: copywriting, visual content, video content, blogs, podcasts, apps
* Manage external resources (content writers, videographers, SEO experts, agencies, developers, advertising media) with clear ROI goals
* Monitor and evaluate market, competitors and industry trends. Recommend programs based on research
* Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing developments
* Leverage in-depth understanding of online marketing landscape to develop informed POV’s on display advertising, Google Analytics and adwords, Mobile display, paid social
* Manage budget, internal and external staff for digital marketing

**Qualification**

* Minimum 8 -10 years digital experience in a technology-centric company, with proven results in developing, implementing, managing, optimizing and measuring inbound digital, demand-focused programs
* 5 years in high technology solution sales, preferably B2B
* Knowledge of security solutions is preferred
* Experience working with automated content and measurement systems to track results (i.e. Google Analytics, marketing automation (Marketo), social media (Sprinklr, HootSuite, others)
* Experience with media planning and list building – targeting, prospecting and segmentation in digital space
* Experience with direct and digital campaign management, including knowledge of industry best practices, procedures and operations related to a digital-marketing environment
* Experience and expertise with digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, display, email, and website optimization
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to make metrics-driven recommendations to test, measure and improve programs to senior management
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
