Duties & Responsibilities 1. Cultivate & Manage Employer Relations as it relates to internship options for students.

* Cultivate relationships with employers to develop opportunities for students locally and internationally.

* Create and deliver presentations to employers for options for developing and internship program.

* Analyze employer data to assess outreach goasl to better meet the needs of students.

2. Internal Consulting to Faculty

* Collaborate with faculty that run practice based programs for credit.

* Encourage participation from faculty in FEP based program (EPM, IEP)

* Advise FEP faculty member and TF's on operation of program, communication to students, academic calendar issues, and HGSE official processes.

* Advise on new for-credit options (i.e. distance internship program)

* Strategic Planning- initiates meetings and develops goals and recommendations for how to best support internship activity at HGSE.

* Define the infraststructure and operational needs for new internship program initiatives/directions.

3. Event Planning

* Oversee the event marketing and logisitics for mentor seminars.

* Oversee student practioner conferences

* Co-manage internship expo

4. Operations and Infrastructure

* Manage evaluations related to internships including events, employer feedback, and student feedback. This information is used to inform future recommendations made through this role.

* Manage the development of internship relaitoned web content, resources and tools for student and employers.

5. Advising Students

* Advise students one-to-one regarding all internship options

* Create and deliver presentations to students (webinar and in-person)

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3+years related experience; Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Qualifications Master's degree preferred. Experience in career management is preferred. Knowledge of careers in education and gap analysis techniques a bonus. Management skills, ability to relate to students that are adults in transition, advising skills, high-level communication skills, analytical ability, attention to detail, and marketing skills. Experience with database management systems, a variety of technology (i.e. elluminate, LinkedIn, etc.) and website development.
