Regional Sales Director Note: Position location must be in the Eastern Region

Qualifications
Education: Preferred
Bachelors or better.

Experience: Required
7-10 years: A minimum of seven to ten years related experience and/or training with at least five years management experience preferably with large accounts and thorough knowledge of gaming industry. Must be proficient in MS Office including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Major Accountabilities:

Planning, Budgeting, & Reporting
Responsible for the development of annual budget to include unit, revenue, profit and expense projections for defined region.
-Prepares regular (monthly) reports and analysis of sales achievements and new business development opportunities following PDCA process.
-In conjunction with Marketing, responsible for the analysis and communication of market trends, competitive activities, and the positioning, the performance, and the release of new products by Konami and that of our competition. Based on the analysis of market trends and products, responsible for making internal recommendations for the positioning and development of Konami products to insure our competitive positioning.
-Facilitates weekly/monthly reporting of sales team forecasting for defined region.

Sales
-Leads the assigned regions sales staff to meet monthly, quarterly and annual unit, revenue, expense and profit goals for defined region including corporate accounts and game sales recurring revenue objectives.
-Actively identifies opportunities within their region to cross sell all KGI products.
-Travels territory, sets objectives, develops customer relations, solicits business, and resolves customer issues.
-Maintains updated account database of all customers through the use of personal contacts, trade journals, business directories, and other available sources.
-Formulates or amends sales contracts, maintaining legal and financial compliance from directives set by senior manager. Obtains proper sales contract signatures.
-Evaluates new market entry opportunities including preparing business cases, financial models and marketing plans.
-Participates in new sales orientation and sales training programs. Identifies and implements training programs to develop and enhance teams product knowledge.
-Acts as a resource to sales staff in contract opportunities, proposals and proformas. Assists with contract negotiations, closing sales and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
-Maintains expertise of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Monitors competitive activity.
-Conducts presentations and meetings with key customers.
-Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided. Answers questions from sales representatives and handles complaints.

Management
-Responsible for day-to-day operations including management of customer relations, sales forecasting, business process improvement and quality initiatives and collection of outstanding accounts receivables.
-Responsible for working effectively as a team with executive management, internal stakeholders including R&D, sales, customer Service and external customer, vendors and regulators to represent Konami in the highest standards.
-Responsible for working closely with Marketing/Sales, Sales Operations, Corporate Planning/Accounting & Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Service and executive staff to jointly represent the companys products to clients and expedite customer orders in accordance with regulatory and company policy requirements.
Responsible for staffing, training, and performance management in accordance with company standards and policies.
