Northrop Grumman is seeking a Enterprise Point of Presence (EPOP) Firewall Administrator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. In this role you will provide support to all Northrop Grumman Enterprise Point of Presence (EPOP) firewall rule base elements for internal and external customers at all locations, with focus on fulfilling their requirements for firewall updates.

Requirements include analysis, evaluation and documentation of customer requirements and providing a standard EPOP firewall rule base infrastructure. Perform Enterprise Infrastructure Security and Engineering responsibilities to oversee the management of the Northrop Grumman Corporation Enterprise firewalls per approved Northrop Grumman Corporation Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.

Primary responsibilities include development and support of the EPOP firewalls (internal, external, and International) for Northrop Grumman’s Networks and providing assistance, guidance and recommendations for network design reviews and audit support.

* Good network technical background and troubleshooting skills are required in the above-described areas with broader technical skills a bonus.

* This position also includes a high degree of direct customer interface that requires good interpersonal, communication and diplomacy skills.

* The firewall administrator is required to validate customer firewall rule change requests (new or changes), Act on receiving SISO approval. Implement VSM ticketing system generated firewall rule requests and change notices.

* Additionally assist customers (internal and external) with troubleshooting network connectivity problems.

* Perform self-audits of managed infrastructures to ensure compliance to all policies and work instructions.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in an Information Technology related discipline with 5 years experience; in-depth knowledge of TCP/UDP protocols in relation to information security and firewall functions.

* Proven analytical skills.

* Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications:

* Active Security Clearance (Secret or above)

* In-depth knowledge of the Northrop Grumman network infrastructure and architecture

* Familiarity with the Northrop Grumman International network infrastructure

* Working knowledge of Check Point security products, Palo-Alto Application Firewalls or Firemon application

* Information Security and Networking Certifications (Security , CISSP, CAN, etc.)
