*SUMMARY*

This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the efficient use of Human Resource related software systems. In addition, this position will act as a Project Coordinator for large Human Resource Department-related assignments. The successful incumbent must have an in-depth knowledge of the policies, procedures, and compliance issues relating to Human Resources.

This position may also provide support or act as a Project Coordinator for technical-related assignments within the Administration Division. This individual must possess the ability to demonstrate flexibility in multi-tasking, manage high demands on their time, and work with everyone in the Administration Department.

Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Prepares for and conducts monthly individual dialogs.

Creates HR projects and coordinates and updates projects within Connections Online.

Systems/Projects:

Maintains HRIS and other HR systems such as the performance appraisal system, applicant tracking system and other systems relating to HR functions. Includes developing documentation/procedures, making/recommending process improvements and testing impact of updates.

Acts as subject matter expert for HR systems and applications.

Works on department projects with all members of HR department, usually technical or HR branding in nature, such as creating improved efficiencies within the Department.

Develops HR Department service surveys.

Manages the HR Department’s Business Continuity/Pandemic Plan including updating data in the Business Continuity System.

Maintains the Human Resource Department’s vendor data in the Vendor Management software, working with third-party HR vendors to obtain information as needed.

Conducts training on the Employee Information Center (EIC) and the Manager Information Center (MIC).

Acts as Project Coordinator working cooperatively with Benefits Coordinator on Open Enrollment. Interfaces with ADP on Open Enrollment and software/employee utilization issues. Develops training materials for use during enrollment meetings.

Acts as Project Coordinator for the annual and introductory period performance appraisal processes working cooperatively with others in the HR Department. Conducts training for new and current supervisors. Creates training materials.

Acts as Project Coordinator working cooperatively with the Benefits Coordinator on annual Flu Shot/Health Fair.

Cross-trains Human Resource Department employees on important aspects of HRMS job duties. Key job duties to be performed on a rotational basis.

Cross-trains on key functions within the Human Resource Department and performs them on a rotational basis.

Reports/Administrative:

Performs quality control for HRIS data entry bi-weekly before data is given to Finance. Suggest we move this to the HR Generalist position.

Works with HRIS as new tracking or reporting needs arise. Creates reports and procedures as changes occur.

Creates and maintains procedures for assigned job duties. Assigned HR staff to use procedures during the year, setting up test processes as necessary.

Generates/files reports such as the EEO-1 report, annual non-discrimination testing for benefits plan(s), annual reports, OSHA reporting, and CMS creditable coverage.

Updates and maintains required electronic local, state and federal posters on the Employee Information Center.

Files documents in employee files and other files as applicable.

*QUALIFICATIONS*

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in related field, Human Resources and/or Technology related preferred; and two to four years of experience with Human Resource Systems.

*LANGUAGE SKILLS*

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and technical instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.

*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

*REASONING ABILITY*

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Perform research, make recommendations, summarize and present findings.

*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES*

Functional with Microsoft suite of products, including: Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, and Powerpoint. Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS, automated tracking system, and performance appraisal systems.
