Specialist Manager demonstrates deep specific technical knowledge, comprehensive skill sets, and relevant project experience. They contribute to the best practices in their specialty. Specialist Managers have relevant past project experience and possess experience in guiding small teams. Specialist managers are expected to be able to develop training mechanisms and have capabilities that will contribute to their specialist network and will be part of a COP. A Specialist Manager ensures that project needs are met by delivering deep skills, based on extensive past project experience; communicates with customer in area of expertise on a project by project basis. Specialist Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding the work of a Specialist along with executing more complex tasks. Responsible for developing community of practice through coaching, mentoring and recruiting.

Primary Duties:

Architects solutions to assist teams when integrating with DeloitteNet applications such as PIN, CSSync, and DeloitteNet User Profiles
*
Develops plans for and coordinates new application integrations into DeloitteNet Alerts, DFeed, Smart Search, Best Bets, Encrypted PDF, etc.
*
Completes configuration and updates to support IRC s Internet Policy (EULA)
*
Develops comprehensive test plans and executes complex build activities for CSSync to support ongoing firm M&A activities.
*
Participates and leads, where appropriate, in deployment discussions and activities to support integrations between DeloitteNet and other delivery teams.
*
Coordinate activities between CTO, business teams, and DeloitteNet support teams in support of AvePoint rollout and adoption.
*
Provides integration expertise across SB&I / MD applications and project teams during project delivery.
*
Responsible for defining project-level approach/strategy on individual projects within their area of subject matter expertise.
*
Defines and directs the work of a specialist on an individual project level under the coordination and guidance of an Engagement Manager.
*
Active participant in community of practice, providing input and leading threads..
Primary Qualifications:
*
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
*
5+ years of relevant experience in technical leadership and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects around product implementation, configuration, development and support; complete understanding of design and project management of business software solutions.
*
Strong channel specific business and domain (functional/technical) knowledge.
*
Project software development life cycle experience; project management experience; experience with architecture standards design and implementation (including strategy, user experience, performance, controls, stability, quality, innovation, and enterprise security requirements).
*
Intermediate MS Office skills.
*
Proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, RUP, Agile); functional/technical implementation experience with product(s) in subject matter expertise.
*
Strong configuration and design skills; significant experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
*
Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions; experience in leading small teams in virtual environments on large, complex projects; good problem solving skills
*
Subject matter areas include, but are not limited to: SharePoint 2010/2013 (administration, security, provisioning, development, etc.), SQL Server scripting/query tools, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Team Foundation Server (TFS), industry-standard SharePoint platform governance tools (e.g., AvePoint, Log Binder, etc.), document encryption technologies (File Open preferred), user provisioning processes (DeloitteNet-specific CSSync experience preferred), SAP HR systems, SAP integration, SAP HANA, MDR integration, search technologies (SharePoint required, experience with other vendor solutions preferred), member firm content taxonomy structure management, DeloitteNet Alerts integrations, and Mongo
