This position would meet with the patient Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for 3 hours each day. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Review and implement student specific written behavioral and educational programs. Participate in the design of home-based education programs based on students current IEP. Accurately collect and clearly report data on specified student behaviors (i.e., academic and behavioral). Utilize appropriate prompting sequence, as minimally as needed; to assist the student to participate in task or activity at the highest level of independence; modify tasks to ensure maximum student participation and engagement; assist in developing and implementing activities designed to increase targeted appropriate skills. Maintain appropriate and professional relationship with student’s caregivers in the home environment. Maintain cleanliness within the student’s designated working environment – replace materials after use, return supplies to proper locations, and ensure safe & clean programming areas.
