Purpose:

To plan, organize and control the activities within the Supply Chain Department and manage commercial aspects of all warehouse stock supply activities throughout Nevada internal departments in accordance with Nevada's policies and procedures while at the same time ensuring a high level of support service to user departments for sourcing, negotiating, preparation and management and applying ethical, efficient, risk managed, consistent and cost effective approach for each stage of the process. Essential job duties include:

* Implement and maintain purchasing policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within Nevada operations and its suppliers.

* Ensure successful procurement of goods through effective supply agreements in terms of costs, quality, quantity, warranty and consistency in availability.

* Assist in development and implementation of effective procurement plan and strategy based on user department warehouse stock requirements and providing regular progress status reports of all supply activities.

* Manage all supply contract administrative matters, relating to claims, disputes, invoicing/payments, discrepancies, expediting orders, correspondence, back charges and taxes.

* Manage supply process and expediting in conjunction with Inventory Control.

* Ensure continuity and correctness of supply to support the operations requirements for all supply Agreements.

* Research products and/or suppliers that offer alternate methods which will improve the operation or reduce the cost of mining, maintenance or operations

* Be able to organize and set priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously and deal with distractions.

* Ensure supplier compliance with supply, delivery, e-Business and invoicing procedural requirements.

* Maintains and updates vendor information

* Perform excellent customer service

* Prefer Degree in Business, or two years of experience in the procurement field

* Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, MS Project)

* C.P.M (Certified Purchasing Manager) is preferred

* Strong analytical and communication skills (written & verbal)

* Make arithmetical computations rapidly and accurately

* Communicate clearly and concisely

* Follow oral and written instructions
