Team Description
The team’s main function is to apply a unified, considered and controlled approach to all aspects of change and operational architecture from an EMEA CRS perspective, complimenting that of the Client OSD function. The function covers new and existing clients through all aspects of change whether it client initiated or internal operational advancement. The team will ensure the business is aware of all activity, the stage of every task and understanding potential impact to the business.
Through initiating and reviewing of continued operational execution the team will ensure business stability, by reviewing use of implemented best practice, policy, metrics and access controls.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
* Unified Best Practice and continued Execution: - Challenge, define and document best practices for the group and ensure continuation of use.
* Issue "Best practice", "Agreed approaches" or "Procedures" and gain agreement and attestation from all staff
* Provide opinion forums for questions and ideas share with the group on existing and proposed approaches
* Operational Architecture:- Challenge, Define and document best operating model.
* Help define and document new operating models in line with New Business and Client Change programs
* Challenge existing operating models, through deep dive reviews, review of common themed issues etc
* Challenge internal operating approaches, such as UDT’s manual processes and volumes
* Manage existing UT program through Prodiance and Alliance, lead and maintain program for group, challenge bad process
* Define potential UT futures builds, gain business requirements and manage pipeline
* Identify and get definition of potential II for future proposal and build.
* CRS
* CRS impact assessments from change or other groups upstream / downstream changes
* Coding or report writing experience, ideally with logic based database systems
* Excellent financial market and instrument knowledge
* Experience of developing and delivering reporting solutions to clients
* Regulatory knowledge – UCITS, UK COLL, AIFMD, 1940’s Act
* Managing impacts from New Business and Client Change agenda:-
* Maintaining the agreed Operations priorities and ongoing tracking (including resourcing, planning etc)
* Manage impacts from New Business / New Client Pipeline
* Execute Client Transitions, Restructures, Fund Launches, Exits and Re-Basing
* Tracks all Client changes proposed, status throughout, review, then tracking through Client Change program / PDC tracking key events such as testing, parallel and lives dates dependencies on CRS
Qualifications/Skills
* You can describe your experience of at least two, ideally three, of the following key attributes:
1) Strong client servicing and/or project management experience
2) Report writing experience, ideally with logic-based database systems
3) Excellent financial market and instrument knowledge
4) Regulatory Knowledge - UCITS, UK COLL, 2a7, 1940's ACT
5) Experience of developing and delivering reporting solutions to clients
* You will have, or have the ability to swiftly acquire, knowledge of a myriad of financial instruments including derivatives, knowledge of the financial markets and an appreciation and understanding of portfolio/investment theory.
* You can demonstrate strong analytical, organisational and logical problem solving skills
* You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft® Excel
