The role holder is responsible to supporting the Head of Core Products on the strategic implementation of the overall CMB Core Product Management based on the agreed product strategy for lending products (e.g. Commercial Lending Products: Overdraft, Packaged lending products, Term loans, Business cards and Commercial Finance Products: Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Mortgages, Leasing, Structure Finance, Agribusiness…etc.) aligned to GCMB propositions, segmentation and participation models.
Lead Global CMB Sales Suitability program implementation in North America CMB including development and management of North America Quality Assurance team. In addition, coordinate Regional Conduct Risk Implementation, including tracking of activities and development and distribution of country/Regional level Conduct MI.
Anticipate future market conditions in a changing context (incl. pricing, risk, regulatory and customer insight), drive product performance against leading industry standards, maintain control and visibility throughout markets and segments, and identify new opportunities for driving returns on investments by increasing scale.
The role holder will actively engage with CMB Business, Finance, Compliance, Service Delivery, Change Delivery and other product providers and supports to ensure alignment, standardization and optimisation of the Core Products /Portfolios offerings. S/he will also work with the Head of Core Products to interface with marketing e.g. deliver customer insight projects to support development of overall product strategy.

One of the key strategic aims of the Global CMB TBM is to drive consistency in our business and standardise the way CMB operates to support our evolution into a global business. This objective extends to the way CMB builds, manages and distributes products to its customers.
The Senior Core Product Manager will be responsible for implementation of the mentioned products growth plans, with appropriate risk management, and ensuring alignment to GCMB propositions, segmentation and participation strategies.
The role holder will support Head of Core Products in implementing the framework for the of review all mentioned products / portfolios (as part of a USD [ ]M CMB asset portfolio), evaluating against defined performance metrics, formulating product and business strategy, as well as structuring initiatives and recommendations to drive revenue growth.
S/he will be responsible for product management, including:
* Product governance and product oversight.
* Deployment of a consistent risk management framework for all mentioned products, maximising value (revenue / RORWA) and minimising risk / cost; in conjunction with key business stakeholders.
