**Job Overview**
As a PCB Designer at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will design circuit boards for products found in a wide range of industries including Healthcare & Life Sciences, Defense / Security / Aerospace, Networking / Communications, and Industrial / Commercial. This role presents an opportunity to partner with project team members across the Globe to include Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and PCB Fabricators.
**Job Responsibilities**
* Develop engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
* Produce comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.
* Use appropriate tools (Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition, PADs , and Altium) perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
* Support the Lean culture and effectively use Lean Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste while improving processes.
**Education & Experience**
* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience is required for this position; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
* Industry experience is preferred, but not required
**Skills & Abilities**
* Understanding of electrical circuit theory and signal integrity as it applies to PCB layout
* Good computer skills, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
**Qualifications**
