Senior Analyst Commercial Contract Administration will be responsible for calculating, analyzing, documenting and processing rebates and fees associated with commercial contracts.

The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining all contracts and related terms and conditions, including pricing and membership This role will maintain contract data and calculation models, resolve data discrepancies, and verify customer compliance with contract terms.

The Senior Analyst may also be responsible for chargeback processing and chargeback analysis related to contract pricing.

Furthermore, this position will be accountable for creating contract performance trending reports and communicating results to account management and internal areas.
*Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:*

• Calculate and process all commercial contract rebates and fees based on contractual terms.

• Maintain a database of all commercial contracts and applicable terms

• Analyze contract performance and identify trends and opportunities

• Validate invoices against internal sales data and customer reports to determine validity of claims

• Provide Finance with estimated commercial contract liabilities

• Prepare check requests for contract rebates and fees

• Prepare summary commercial contract rebate and fee reports for review by management

• Process and analyze chargeback data

• Maintain historical databases for product purchases, rebates, fees and contract performance

• Communicate, develop, and maintain a working relationship with all commercial customer contacts, including Group Purchasing Organizations, Wholesalers, and Distributors.

• Handle and resolve all contract related inquiries, questions, and problems.

• Perform other duties as needed.

*Qualifications*

Prerequisite:
BA / BS required, 4-6 years relative experience
Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required

• Minimum of 4-6 years experience in Pricing, Reimbursement, Finance, or Contract Operations, is desirable

• Knowledge of Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Experience with contracting systems preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Possess a high level of energy, initiative, and ability to multi-task

• Demonstrate integrity, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels

• Ability to assess and communicate potential enhancements to operating processes

• Ability to successfully interact with various field personnel and customer contacts

• Familiarity and working knowledge of various components of commercial healthcare contracting including chargebacks, fees, and rebates.

Possess a general understanding of these components’ impact on government pricing.

• Ability to work independently and under tight timelines

• Results-oriented with a willingness to take on responsibility and manage multiple and varied projects.

• Must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
