Instructional Systems Designer

GP has an immediate need forInstructional Systems Designer.

Summary:

Responsible for providing Instructional Design services and working closely with one of GP Strategies’ Global clients to conceptualize, design, and write highly interactive learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended solutions) that target learning objectives and improve performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide Instructional System Design solutions; job task analysis, curriculum learning analysis, program and course design and development
* Provide Instructional System Design support; analyze job performance gaps and training needs and ensure integrity of learning solutions throughout the development process
* Write course design documents, learning objectives, course content, scenarios, media scripts, practice activities, and assessments
* Assist with Prelim, Draft A, B, C, etc., and Pilot tests or other course formative evaluations, analyze feedback with the clients and Subject Matter Experts, and adjust the training as required
* Deliver projects efficiently so that tasks are completed on time, problems are anticipated or resolved quickly, and team members have clear project requirements and schedules to work toward
* Experience working independently and initiating progress on all course deliverables with client and Subject Matter Experts
* Communicate progress towards hitting monthly targets using established project tracking mechanisms with GP Strategies Project Management
* Assessment writing; writing of practice activities/exercises and assessments based on course learning objectives
* Develop and evaluate learning plans and objectives
* Work cross-functionally with creative and technical departments to build client solutions

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience in the ISD field
* Experience working with LSD packages
* High attention to detail
* Organizational and time management skills
* Availability to travel up to 100% of the time within continental US
Preferred skills:

* Experience developing training for new System implementations (ie. SAP, Oracle. PeopleSoft, etc.)
* Experience with uPerform versions 4.5 to 5.2
* Experience with Microsoft SharePoint , including contributing/editing content, managing and filtering tables of information for progress tracking
