Partner GTM Experience Manager

**Job Description**

The “Partner GTM Experience Manager” will report to the Director of Partner GTM Experience and will reside within VMware’s Global Partner Organization (GPO). The role will focus on building, expanding and analyzing VMware’s extensive partner relationships and help optimize VMware’s investments to drive industry-leading Partner Experience.

The Partner GTM Experience group is a fast-paced team driving innovation in how VMware supports our partner ecosystem in learning, marketing, selling and delivering VMware-based solutions.

This individual will be responsible for the strategy and execution of VMware’s Partner Advisory Councils (PACs) globally, including biannual events in AMER, EMEA and APJ with top partner and VMware executives. VMware’s PACs are a forum for partner members to influence VMware’s direction and channel programs while establishing strong working relationships with VMware senior leadership. Collaborating closely with Partner Marketing, Corporate Marketing, GEO partner leadership, and the partners themselves, this individual will be accountable for all aspects of the PAC program.

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for defining a framework for analyzing overall Partner Experience. Using inputs from PACs, Annual Partner Surveys, partner interviews, third party channel assessments and other feedback formats, this individual will design and implement the framework for assessing the health and priorities of VMware’s Partner ecosystem.
This global role will require cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Operations, Support, Incentives and Renewals.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Define, coordinate & execute framework for assessing health and priorities to optimize Partner Experience for VMware

* Own strategy and manage execution of VMware’s highly strategic Partner Advisory Councils in AMER, EMEA and APJ

* Coordinate resources and activities with Global and GEO teams to identify the top priorities of VMware partners with particular focus on how to accelerate joint go-to-market success

* Engage directly with VMware partners to build, maintain and expand the quality of the relationships

* Design and implement partner experience improvement programs

* Design and actively manage an executive dashboard used by executive leadership to inspect the health of VMware’s partner ecosystem

* Create standards, tools and templates for the growth of the Partner GTM Experience function

* Facilitate collaborations between and amongst partners and contribute to the hosting of events that promote such collaboration

Requirements

* 5+ years of partner enablement, partner marketing or partner readiness experience

* Deep understanding of enterprise software and cloud computing markets

* High quality executive communication skills and experience facilitating working sessions

* Ability to articulate and evangelize the value of our Partner Experience programs and how they are positively supporting the business’ goals

* Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution in new areas with tight timelines

* Strong analytical skills including defining, measuring and analyzing key performance indicators

* High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up style environment

* Up to 25% travel may be required
