**Description**
GENERAL SUMMARY

Fluke has a major focus on the development of its sales of Electrical and associated products to small, medium and large electrical contractors in the UK and Ireland. The job holder will be responsible developing this business on behalf of Fluke both directly to end users and through a network of Electrical Wholesalers in a defined geographical area. In addition the job holder will support market development activities such as industry body initiatives.

PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Is responsible for reaching the sales targets associated with the sale of Fluke Electrical and associated products through Wholesalers and other nominated accounts within a defined geographical area.

· Is responsible for recruiting, training and managing authorised resellers to sell Fluke company products and services within an assigned territory.

· To support the achievement of the sales targets, effectively deploy Fluke POS materials (counter leaflets and POP displays) to Wholesalers within a defined geographical area. Ensure that the materials are used effectively and maintained.

· Ensure that the Wholesalers have effective inventory which is maintained within the Fluke commercial guidelines.

· To proactively support the development of Fluke Electrical business, via channels to end users, through end user visits, seminars, exhibitions, calibration days and the support of industry body activities and Wholesaler buying groups.

· To maintain effective territory planning and reporting of sales activities.

· Is responsible for maximising revenue by managing the relationship between the customer and the company and via all methods of sales orientated activity including the support of sales promotions, advertising and marketing activities.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Work independently, with a minimum of supervision. Has some latitude in determine work objectives and goals, restricted by general procedures and policy. Engage in new and varied work situations as required. Errors in judgment may seriously affect short and long range sales with impact on reaching sales quotas and customer relations and creating delays or loss of accounts and affect Company image.

**Qualification**
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED

In-depth knowledge of Electrical products and selling through and supporting Electrical Wholesaler channels. Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills. A team player.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Technical college level education with at least 5 years technical field sales experience, some of which has been gained supporting Wholesalers.

JOB CONDITIONS

Normal-moderate to frequent travel and extended hours as required.

Home Office Based.
