**Description**

The **Integrity Engineer** provides **** engineering and technical support to ensure the safe, consistent, reliable and accurate operation of pipeline, tank and measurement gathering systems. Working under the direction of the West Coast Division Manager, reviews integrity programs and provides recommendations on project scopes and priorities. Develops plans and coordinates efforts by contractors and field personnel for the execution of projects

*Responsibilities may include* :

* Ensuring quality is integrated

* Developing project plans and schedules, and executing small projects within the area of specialization with a high degree of independence, which could include contractor oversight

* Undertaking independent studies, analyzing, interpreting, and making conclusions on small projects or tasks

* Assisting in technical and operational investigation and evaluation of complex tasks, providing recommendations on the most appropriate approach

* Understanding and implementing all relevant company policies and procedures to ensure all work meets the required standard

* Monitoring the efficiency of systems and processes to assist management decisions and help improve efficiency

* Providing technical information and expertise to other disciplines

* Engaging technical specialists where appropriate

* Demonstrating awareness and commitment to safety

* Implementing a comprehensive gathering system for Phillips 66 Pipeline Integrity program

* Facilitating a Gathering System integrity team

* Coordinating the design and installation of custody transfer measurement systems on Company owned crude oil truck unloading stations

* Coordinating plans and schedule to install automation systems necessary to monitor and control the gathering system from the control center

* Coordinating the design and installation of back pressure equipment necessary to enhance leak detection systems

* Establishing MOP and data sheets for the gathering system

* Developing and track system integrity performance metrics

* Collaborating with Operations, Commercial Development and Commercial Crude to develop and maintain short term and long-range facility utilization and maintenance plans

* Providing technical support to operations personnel - audit action item closure, MOC's, PHA's, operations and maintenance procedures, etc.

* Executing support for small capital and major maintenance projects division wide

* Participating and support incident investigations

* Collaborating with cross-divisional integrity engineers to drive consistency and implement best practices

* Leading operating representatives on economic evaluation team to determine whether to abandon low volumes segments or invest in integrity, metering, monitoring, etc

* Maintaining a 12F tank integrity program

**Qualifications**

**Basic/Required** :

* Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

* Must maintain a valid driver's license

* Willing and able to travel up to 20%

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering

* 5 or more years in Pipelines, Terminals, or related industry

**Preferred** :

* Computer proficient with Word, Excel, MS Access, SAP and Outlook software

* 1 or more years’ experience working with Pipeline Integrity Maintenance requirements and procedures

**Pipelines and Terminals**

Phillips 66 owns or leases various assets to provide strategic, timely and environmentally safe delivery of crude oil, refined products, natural gas and NGL. These assets include pipeline systems; product, crude oil, marine and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminals; a petroleum coke handling facility; and a fleet of railcars.

As of Dec. 31, 2012, Phillips 66 manages approximately 18,000 miles of crude oil, raw NGL, natural gas and petroleum products pipeline systems in the United States, including those partially owned or operated by affiliates. In addition, the company owns or operates 39 finished-product terminals, five LPG terminals, 10 crude oil terminals and one petroleum coke exporting facility.

Phillips 66 also owns a 25 percent interest in the Rockies Express (REX) natural gas pipeline. REX runs 1,679 miles from Meeker, Colo., to Clarington, Ohio.
