*Job Description*
Siemens Building Technologies is currently looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to grow our Fire Alarm and Security Solutions business in South Florida (Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, FL). The Sales Executive will focus on new construction business selling to Electrical Contractors, General Contractors, and Consulting Engineers.
*Responsibilities include:*
- Under general supervision, manages and grows assigned territory or group of fire alarm and security solutions accounts
- Achieves booking and gross margin goals. Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory. Team sells with other Salespeople as appropriate.
- Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations. Works with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
- Strategic Account Planning and Management
- Introduce new fire systems product line to sales and top fire customers and end-users
- Coordinate and present technical symposium’s to customers and end-users
- Prepare extensive sales promotion campaigns for customers to promote product lines to Commercial markets
*Qualifications the ideal candidate will have include:*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer preferred, although candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered; a High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
- 1-2 years of meeting and succeeding quotas of selling full fire alarm and integration products strongly preferred, although candidates with either industry related sales experience or entry-level candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, along with strong sales capabilities will also be considered
- Experience with Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, IP Video, Access Controls Systems, Intrusion Systems preferred but not required
- Spin Selling preferred
- Effective communication skills to give presentations before a broad audience
- Hunter sales mentality
- Training in fire alarm, electronics and system applications software preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license in good standing; must meet eligibility requirements to drive a Siemens company vehicle
