Description:

The Retail Solution Lead role is a new position within the
Retail Operations Portfolio, created to better support Retail client growth! The
Retail Solution Lead will play a visible and influential role in delivering a
better client experience by driving for continued improvement to our NA Buy
retail solutions. More specifically,
this person will facilitate product advancement with three guiding principles
in mind; capability, operability, and retirement. In order to do this well, this person must
develop a strong a relationship with both Commercial and Operations teams to
understand specific needs and their relevance, as well as partner with Product
Leadership to appropriately prioritize and manage solution development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish a clear understanding of Retail Solution
capabilities, and lack thereof
* Support CDLs in managing Retail Services expectations
regarding retail solutions and platform enhancements
* Engage directly with CDL’s and account teams to deeply
understand client experience and new opportunities on retail platforms
* Establish a network of partners to support you in your crusade
to understand what it takes to deliver on a new capability (technology, data
science, product leadership, etc.)
* Prioritize enhancements balancing the client demand and
revenue opportunity with our ability to deliver
* Bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring we are
building the right products for the right clients in the right time
* Develop business cases for larger enhancements that require
this level of investment
* Oversee the entire enhancement cycle from strategic planning
to tactical activities
* Recommend appropriate courses of action for new
implementation across operational platforms
* Support and/or lead global product strategies like TSR,
Competitive Pricing, NDX, etc.
* Provide transparency to our enhancement process, where we
are progressing, and where we’ve decided to hold back and why.
* Create a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing

Relationship Management:

* Client(s): US Retail
* Internal: Product Leadership, Retail Services & GBS
support teams (Tech, Data Science, etc.) that enable retail deliverables

Required:

* Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships
* Strong influencing skills to effectively work with internal
commercial and product leadership teams
* Ability to develop a strategy and position as it relates to
client solutions
* Strong communication skills to ensure proper awareness of
solution advancement plans
* Consensus-builder with skills to successfully interact with
parties with different opinions of priority
* Ability to listen, think and apply knowledge to creative
problem solving
* Ability to manage multiple work streams efficiently
* Excited by an organization in transformation
* High attention to detail
* Action oriented, self-motivated and highly determined
* Technical proficiencies and/or capacity and willingness to
learn
* 4 years’ experience in Market Research or related industry

Preferred:

* Experienced in working as part of a
geographically-dispersed, cross-functional team
* Retail service background
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development
methodology
