*Sodexo* is seeking an experienced *General Manager 2* for our Business & Industry account located in *Santa Clara, CA area.*

Reporting directly to the District Manager, this hands on position will work alongside a team of 9 and will oversee all aspects of food production and quality, HACCP and safety programs, regulatory compliance and employee training and development. Our ideal candidate will have experience in food production, catering and excellent customer service, food and kitchen safety, sanitation for regulatory compliance, inventory management, on-line ordering, catering, employee training, hiring, scheduling and payroll. Strong client relations skills will be critical for success in this position.

*The ideal candidate should have:*

* Should have approx. 5 plus years of experience in an Food Services Manager, Assisting General Manager or Food Contract Management experience is a plus
* Back & Front of the house knowledge
* Must be organized, hands on, food production exp, knowledgeable with food and labor cost
* Experience delivering & executing full comprehensive food program
* Experience managing, training and coach hourly staff
* Must have exceptional customer service, professional, personable and good communication skills.
* Knowledge of MS Office Suites
* Experience delivering quality food during catering event
* Experience with Food Safety Policies & knowledgeable of Sodexo programs is a plus.
* Experience working with other chef’s to assure food quality, menu, recipe, techniques, menu developing, food & labor cost.
* Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to speak Spanish language will assist in managing this workforce

Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
