The primary responsibility of this role, as Global Regulatory Manager (GRM), is to drive the development and registration process for Biological products; coordinate cross - functional processes (e.g. by leading technical product and project sub- teams). Steer the compilation of high quality registration dossiers on time, in close collaboration with other development functions, other regions and countries. The incumbent will:

* Be responsible for defining, developing and implementing the global regulatory strategies for specific biological active ingredients and global formulations, by using cross- functional and cross-regional networks;

* Manage the planning, budget and execution of all regulatory studies in close contact with internal functional technical experts, to ensure the necessary scientific data, studies, documentation, interpretations and information are available in a timely manner;

* Support the regional and local registration, defense and stewardship process by coordinating technical expertise and generating the necessary data, in close cooperation with the regions, countries and experts;

* Compile the regulatory core dossiers and technical positions for submissions, and facilitate favorable regulatory outcomes to support strategic business objectives, as well as to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations

* Give guidance on register-ability or regulatory consequences, costs and timelines for biopesticides, botanicals, plant growth regulators, soil amendments, inoculants and other new technologies in the area of biological crop protection products in order to facilitate decisions on research, development, investment and prioritization;

* Follow the development of new regulatory legislation and political impacts in order to be able to translate and consider them for global regulatory product defense and development activities;

* Represent BCS in regulatory industry associations or task forces initiatives to influence broad regulatory policies / regulations that affect BCS assets. The GRM’s act in a highly complex and unpredictable regulatory environment due to politically driven regulatory decisions, therefore the selected candidate is required to possess the following:

* M.S. in biology, chemistry, biology or agronomy (or related subjects) AND a minimum of 4 years of experience or;

* B.S. in biology, chemistry, biology or agronomy (or related subjects) AND a minimum of 6 years of experience;

* An in-depth knowledge of the agrochemical industry and competitive landscape and comprehensive experience of global regulatory affairs

* An extensive level of knowledge of relevant biopesticide regulations and requirements for submission of registration applications and other regulatory dossiers. An understanding of all regulatory relevant scientific subjects

* Experience or knowledge of regulatory approval processes for Biostimulants, plant inoculants, soil amendments or other non-pesticidal plant products;

* Possess leadership skills and be effective/efficient organizer, planner and communicator and be able to understand, influence and motivate colleagues, as well as external contacts, including regulatory agencies. Ability to push for timely decisions, take appropriate risks and support prioritization decisions;

* Solid negotiation skills with regulatory authorities and Third Parties and a very high level of integrity. Preferred Qualifications:

* M.S. in biology, chemistry, biology or agronomy (or related subjects) AND 6 to 8 years of relevant experience OR;

* B.S. in biology, chemistry, biology or agronomy (or related subjects) AND 8 to 10 years of relevant experience;
