The Sr. Director TV Client Services and Strategy will be responsible for the organization that delivers excellent service, strategy and best in class insights to drive adoption for AOL Platforms Linear TV technology platform and services. This seasoned, technology-proficient professional will manage a team of Account Directors, Strategic Account Managers, Media Planning and Investment Managers and Client Services Managers to build the business and provide best in class service. Each Account Director is responsible for a portfolio of agency, trading desk, and brand advertiser accounts with Strategic Account Managers Media Planning and Investment Managers and Client Services Managers supporting the business. The Sr. Director is responsible for the profitability of his/her organization, growing revenue from existing customer relationships, driving adoption of AOL Platforms Linear TV technology, and ensuring the organization is operationally standardized and sound.

Key responsibilities include:

* Lead, grow, and retain US-based Client Services organization, focused on agency, trading desk, and brand advertiser clients

* Responsible for management, growth, and relationship-building across client roster with deep knowledge of buying practices, agency structures, and media strategy

* Strong relationship-based strategic & Analytical skills with ability to identify client needs

* Ownership of solutions-led RFP responses and new business pitches for major clients - grounded in insights and superior strategic sensibility

* Ability to act as an expert on behalf of Adap.tv with senior executives at top tier ad agencies and big brands is required

* Achieve quarterly revenue and profitability targets by client and in aggregate

* Identify and help drive incremental revenue / growth opportunities stemming from existing business

* Successfully articulate the Linear TV platform value proposition, as well as the broader technology footprint available with AOL Platforms

* Partner with the Linear TV and broader AOL sales organizations to successfully co-manage large client relationships and platform engagements

* Design operational plans, best practices, and organizational structure that can be scaled for global adoption – this regional organization must behave nationally

* Define, standardize, and deliver service levels according to account priority and its value to the business

* Assess client trends, feedback, and market movement; consolidate into recommendations for the Team TV Sales and Product leadership

* Handle client escalations with grace and maturity, involving executive leadership as necessary and appropriate

* Establish close working relationships with leadership in other departments, advocating our clients

* Foster camaraderie across the organization, prioritizing a sense of team culture

* Reports to SVP, Programmatic TV

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years experience in media strategy or planning role, with traditional and digital marketing experience required. Media agency experience strongly preferred. VP, ready to take next step in their career

* Big picture thinker who also sweats the details

* Must be problem-resolution oriented

* Deep knowledge of TV advertising ecosystem, advertising technology, programmatic trends, digital video, as well as buying practices, agency structures, and media strategy

* Comfortable leading technology discussions to produce technical product roadmaps, first-party data integrations, and audience-based buying strategies

* Proven, reference-accompanying success in managing organizations of 10+ people with multiple management layers

* Extensive experience managing executive client relationships and delivering exemplary client service while achieving revenue and profitability goals

* Confident in leading client contract negotiations and proving the value of technology back to the client for successful contract renewals

* Demonstrated operational skills yielding processes, systems, and organizations that work efficiently, reliably, and repeatedly

* Do business with a sense of urgency and accountability; confident making quick decisions with the best information available

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* References will be expected from a direct report, a (former) manager, and a client
