Today features the wedding photographs at RSA House of the lovely Ruth & Rob. I spent the week nervously checking my iPhone on an almost hourly basis to see what the weather would bring us. We seem to have had no end of rain these last few weeks and most brides are as anxious as me when it comes to having fine weather and miraculously after lashings of rain during the week, the clouds bearing rain buggered off and we had a dry day. We were even blessed with a bit of sunshine which made a change. I digress! Ruth looked stunning in her Castigliano ‘Beauty’ design with blue McQueen shoes. I particularly loved the tie in of the navy sash, navy bridesmaids dresses (which were made by the fair hands of Dr Tower, Ruth’s Mum no less!!!!) and the navy bows on the back of the chairs. There is something so elegant, so timeless about blue and white. Rob looked a million bucks in his bespoke navy suit from Toby Luper at Hemingways and together Ruth & Rob were a match made in heaven. Two things before I leave you. Ruth & Rob elected to have a ceilidh band which made for a FANTASTIC evening on entertainment. I can’t remember having so much fun taking photos on the dance-floor. Ceilidh’s are a great way to get everyone up and dancing and personally I love them. And you can measure their success by the piles of stilettos on the side of the dance-floor!!! Secondly, a massive thank you to everyone at RSA House, particularly the Banqueting Manager Paul, who ensured the day ran to perfection. Paul is fantastic at his job and I have to say that the RSA House is a first class wedding venue in Central London and I can’t recommend it highly enough. A huge thank you to Ruth and Rob for a truly memorable day.
