You have a lovely independent sensibility and clearly are intent to find hidden quality, even if it’s not “popular” or mainstream. I see you as someone who appreciates quality for its own sake, regardless of whether others appreciate it. You’re unconventional to some extent as well (are any of us on tumblr conventional, really?), and I sense would prefer a balance between practicality and performance.
So let’s activate the way-back machine, shall we, because you, my friend, are a Subaru SVX. Subaru only marketed these vehicles in North America for a few years, and sales were dismal, which is sad. Subaru just isn’t known for “sports cars” in the United States, which probably explains (in part with the sluggish economy during the early ‘90’s when it was sold here) why consumers didn’t jump on the SVX. Never mind the 24-valve, 3.3 liter quad cam engine and all wheel drive. This car is not only a beast, it’s a subtle beast. It doesn’t have the flash of other sports cars in the same class, but it definitely turns heads and is something refreshingly different, with a unique style that’s never really been replicated — kinda like you.
