**Position Overview**

The Marketing Project Coordinator administers and executes key projects supporting defined Marketing strategies and tactical plans from both a product and project perspective\. This includes:

Helping develop new products

Managing and maintaining existing products

Identifying new opportunities to improve flagship software ¿ Yearbook Avenue

Developing marketing tactics and collateral to support reps and customers

Executing go\-to\-market activities

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assist in the development & management of yearbook product offerings, ranging from analog book creation \(fonts, templates etc\.\), digital products \(mobile apps and enhancements\) and accessories\.

Assist the marketing manager and marketing team with production of marketing materials and literature; compile, format and proof customer\-marketing materials; and prioritize projects, manage inventory and establish go\-to\-market timelines\.

Coordinate product marketing communications and support promotional activities, marketing events, contests and exhibitions as required and be able to confidently engage with customers and prospects\.

Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, in context of overall marketing project portfolio\.A key objective of the role is to improve communication and execution cross\-functionally\.

Develop, implement and manage Yearbook projects\. Coordinate project activities to deliver on stated marketing and business objectives, including but not limited to the following:

oProviding a single point of contact for all related work on assigned projects

oAct as the voice of the customer ¿ pre, during and post\-development; seek and identify market needs and requirements; balance market needs with Jostens enterprise business strategies\.

oWork with cross functional teams on approach, strategies, content development, revenue plans for product/project

oDocument meeting notes, processes and product specifications\.

oCollaborate with all stakeholders including end users, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc\. to execute and implement product/project plans

oConduct project/product meetings, tracking and analysis\. Develop and maintain milestones and project plans\.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor¿s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required\.

2\+ years experience in marketing, design, digital/software product development, project management

Strong sense of design with intermediate level experience of design software like Adobe Creative Suite \- Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator

Understanding of product management, product life cycles and the marketing mix \(4P¿s\)

Experience applying elements of design \-\- including layout, color, typography, illustration, and photography ¿ to delight users and solve business problems\.

Fluency in relevant social media and content management platforms \(Wordpress\) and web applications\.

Strong communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation communications\.

Experience in education, journalism, printing/publishing, advertising or e\-commerce environments preferred\.

Internet proficiency; understanding of capabilities available and how to leverage

Computer proficiency; MS Office Suite \(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint\) and MS Project required; desktop publishing experience preferred

Strong process orientation, organization and meeting management skills

Change agent, flexible approach to developing solutions for stated challenges/opportunities

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team,

Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization

Positive attitude that motivates others to drive for success\.
