Emergency services have been involved this morning in an accident in the Somosierra area of Santa Cruz where a car plunged off a bridge onto the TF5 motorway below. Long tailbacks developed on the northbound carriageway while bomberos cut the 50-year-old driver free from the vehicle, and he was then transferred to Candelaria hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
