Roles and Responsibilities:

Jana requires an entrepreneurial executive with deep knowledge of consumer advertising in high-growth countries such as India, Brazil, China, and Indonesia to market and sell our consumer engagement platform to ad agencies, global brands and market research firms. Our VP of Sales will be responsible for tailoring our value proposition to meet the needs of global clients. Additionally, the VP Sales will hire and manage a distributed team of Sales and Account Executives working from Jana’s future in-country offices (Singapore, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, Lagos) to identify potential clients, grow the business, and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a distributed sales and marketing team.

Customize Jana’s unique capabilities to meet needs in local markets.

Allocate assigned budget to ensure sales targets are met.

Required Experience:

Entrepreneurial Sales - Excited about selling Jana’s value proposition to clients, but adaptable to the challenges of working in a startup environment.

Broad Advertising Expertise - Deep agency network and experience specifically with ad operations and campaign delivery across high-growth markets.

International Team Building - A hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and managing a distributed team across borders.

Additional Requirements:

We are looking for highly motivated, entrepreneurial individuals who can move at a fast pace. He/She should be comfortable working in the resource-constrained environment of a start-up and should be adaptable to shifts in the positioning of the business. Passion for emerging markets required.
