The biggest annual racing event in the country brought by Toyota Motor Philippines has concluded its leg 3 of the third season of Vios Cup at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga last September 9-10, 2016.
The Vios Cup has three classes: Promotional Class, Sporting Class and Super Sporing Class.
In the promotional class, 17 drivers competed plus the celebrity class (4 drivers for this leg) which is the sub-category of promotional. Celebrity drivers Joyce Pring, Jinno Rufino, Fabio Ide and Arci Muñoz were present to race in the promotional class. Phoemela Baranda and Sam YG has been promoted to sporting class wherein they had to overtake 17 racers at Sporting Class. Meanwhile, Super Sporting Class consisted of 15 racers.
Race 1 winners are Aira Medrano (Promotional), Gerard Loy (Sporting) and Carlos Loinaz (Super sporting). Race 2 winners are Oliver Matias (Promotional), Miguel Diaz (Sporting) and Jette Calderon (Super Sporting). Celebrity class was dominated by Fabio Ide.
