Hi Jakophite, thanks for the wonderful things you do on this blog. I dont know where this fits in but given your recent singles and mingles post I thought it wise to write you especially as regards one of the guys on that post who says his name is Desmond.
I wish you make this a post so that ladies would come in and describe ways through which they have been scammed so that others would learn and not fall a victim.
Recently, I was a victim of such. if someone had told me that it would happen to me, I would have asked how?
These scammers have devised various ways to scam unsuspecting victims. first, they add you up on Facebook and use someones profile. Jakophite it appears so real that you wouldnt doubt a thing. Next they begin to chat you up and even go to the extent of chatting up your family members. When you have lost your defences, they come up with various stories of how their mother is sick or how they need money to complete a project with the promise that they will pay back.
In my own case, Jakophite its sad to say I fell for their gimmicks and lost some amount of money, but thats all in the past now. I want blog visitors to comment on the various ways they have been duped so that people will learn. I feel justified if someone learns from my mistake.

I DONT UNDERSTAND
Today I was visited a church service. In the service, a video clip was played about someone being healed. All of a sudden I heard them thanking the pastor and secondly to God. Was so astonished as I taught its God that heals people. So why will thanks be given to a man rather than to christ himself.
Secondly I have so much worry about people believing their denomination is better than others. You hear them preaching from the alter condemning other churches? ? Why? Is the body of christ not supposed to be one?
