‎Fast rising artist Mauzu Adamu (popularly known Black Fab) has been on low key for some time now and is probably not a name that”s new to the industry.

The young Nigerian singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer and entertainer best known for his stage arresting displays developed his interest in music from listening to 2face songs and influence of Legendary Damian Marley, ever green Asa and flowery rynthm Adele.

He’s a Nigerian artist from Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, who lives both in  Abuja and Lagos. Muazu got the stage name Black Fab from the witty combination of his looks and uniqueness from his talent.

Black Fab started his real journey into the industry with the recording of his first single in 2007 and later progressed into his musical career with underground collaborations with the likes of VC Perez in Abuja and K Solo of the Timaya in his early days. It was obvious that a dream he nursed from his formative years had things played together in his favour as an upcoming artist.

Breaking the silence, the Kaduna state born dropped a single titled “Sip Bottle” featuring Terry G in 2009. The young creative giant further stamped an impression with the released of another song featuring H. Man same year with a video shoot directed by Akin Alabi whose masterpiece video was regarded as one of the best production of Director that period.

The political science graduate from Kogi State University bagged several awards as he hit headlines during his school days. He was celebrated as Best Entertainer four times consecutively and one-time best Artiste from Kogi State in general defeating the likes of YQ who was at his peak. After graduating, he emerged Best Act and Most popular at his NYSC Orientation camp in Lagos in 2014. He added another feather to his cap as a pioneer winner of NESCAFE GET STARTED AFRICA 2014,  an Entrepreneurial platform to support African Youths with Ideas and willing to own business of their own. As a man with different sides he attended several conferences as guest speaker to buttress on the Role of Youths in Reshaping New Africa in Ghana / Nigeria and Ivory Coast.

The Afro_HipHop after a long music break and personal skill development to excite his teeming fans, relunched again with the release of ‎ new single titled “GOOD MORNING AFRICA” Produced by Dr. Gee and video shot and directed by UJ PRO FILMS. Black Fab is said to be currently in the studio working on a next single produced by Geo-Official with plans to have Patoranking on the track titled “PRAY FOR ME”.

‎Our Artist Spotlight today who is the next big thing without a record label now is also the founder of WE ARE KOGITES (WAKOGITES), an inter-tribal union by Kogites in Diaspora to ensure Unity, promote Peace and cultural Heritage of all Kogites.

‎Born in April 8, 1989 into a Muslim family of six (6), four girls and two boys, Black Fab is the eldest son and second born of a widowed mother.
