This was actually supposed to be a narrative but I had to look inwards and be hopeful.
I started this year hopefully and even though it doesnt look like it,am hopeful...
I sat thinking of every reason to believe in God...
This year I have learnt...to believe in LOVE - that even though it didnt look like i was going to make it with my husband we still made it through we have learnt to hold hands through this year and allow FRIENDSHIP to take over..
To be able to- LET GO of a job that even though the pay was like a dream job the debts became overwhelming frustrating, to first a miscarriage which left me speechless to trusting God in taking care of me at the death my baby born @ 28weeks whose cry still rings in my ears though still unreal i had to totally give her to God
..FAMILY who would have no other choice but to be there for you.
AND
An ever faithful God who still wakes me up each morning n gives me every reason to be hopeful for as long as HE sits on the throne weeping may endure in d evening but joy comes in the morning.. Today is my morning my JOY cometh.

OPINION NEEDED
Dear Jakophite, please kindly post this on your blog coz I want to hear the views of the likes of our blog visitors ...... There is this lady who lives in my street whos husband beats her mercilessly...sometime around 2011 she ran to our house one night and was crying and wailing...that her husband had accused her of sleeping with their neighbour,her body was swollen and she was in pains,my mum took her in and she spent 3 days in our house...
my mum called her brother who stays in another state to come and take her home( in Igbo culture the man is supposed to come and re marry her and apologize to the inlaws).. After her brother took her a week later she ran back to her husband...mumsy was like WHY?? She said she couldnt leave her children....okay fast forwards to last week...this woman ran again to our house with blood all over her body...her husband had beat her mercilessly this time with his belt and broke a bottle threatening to stab her to death, she begged him saying PLS DONT KILL ME FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILDREN PLS. When she was crying and telling ppl that came to our house everyone was crying...for the first time since 2010 me sef I shed tears....this woman is a beautiful woman,young and pretty woman...she only married this monster maybe because she didnt attend a university...
My mum bathed her,cleaned the blood and massaged her wounds while she moaned in pains...My mum concluded that she should end the marriage.. She should leave without the children for now because the kids are now grown ups and they would locate her in future,she should better leave before he kills her....The lady concluded that she would leave and never come back..she called her husband all sort of names crying and telling my mum how the man had been treating her like a slave....As Im typing this write now this woman is back in her husbands house...I was shocked when I heard it,my mum called her and asked her why she went back and she said that her husband called her and apologized so she just went back....So the question now is could this be LOVE or MADNESS. Or did the man cast a spell on her?
