CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the entrance tests schedule for the admission for session 2014-15 at PU. Admission to various departments/institutes at the PU Campus is given on the basis of various entrance tests conducted by the University from time to time.
PU Common Entrance Test for Under Graduate [PU-CET (UG)] classes would be conducted on May 25, 2014. Admission to Under Graduate classes like B Pharmacy at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), streams like Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry-Computer Science, Physics-Chemistry Biotechnology, Mathematics etc. are conducted through PU-CET (UG). PU Common Entrance Tests for Post Graduate classes [PU – CET (PG)] would be conducted from June 13 to 16, 2014. Admission to Post Graduate classes like LL.M., M.Sc. (Zoology), M.B.E., M.Sc. (Physics / Physics & Electronics), M.Sc. (Medical Physics), M. Tech. (Polymer), Masters in Commerce (Business Innovation), M.C.A., M.Sc. (Nuclear Medicine), M.Tech.(Microelectronics), M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Botany), Masters in Engineering (Electronics& Communication Engineering), M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.A. (English), M.Tech. (Instrumentation), M.P.Ed., M.Sc. (Biochemistry), M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), M.E. (Instrumentation & Control), M.Sc.(Environment Science) (2 Yr. Course), MBACIT, M.Sc. (2 Yr. Course) Microbial Biotechnology, M.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry), B.P.Ed., M.Com (Hons.), Master in Public Health, M.Sc. (Biophysics), M.Tech. (Nano science & Nanotechnology), M.Sc. (Human Genomics), M.E. (Computer Science & Engineering) /M.E. (Information Technology), M.Sc. (Geology), M.Sc. (Microbiology), M.Sc. (System Biology and Bioinformatics)/ M.Sc. (Bioinformatics) and M.E. (Chemical) can be taken from these tests.
Management Entrance Test (MET) for the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) would be conducted on March 15, 2014. Panjab University Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) would be conducted on May11, 2014.
Entrance test for PU-BA/B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) (5 Years) Integrated Courses at PU Campus and Ludhiana Campus would be conducted on May 18, 2014. Entrance test for LL.B. (Hons.) (3 Years) at PU Campus would be conducted on June 8, 2014. Entrance Tests for M.Ed. (Department / All colleges affiliated to PU) M.Ed. (Correspondence for in-service teachers) would be conducted on July 6, 2014. Panjab University Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET) would be conducted on July 13, 2014. Entrance Tests for M.Phil. & Ph.D. would be conducted on July 27, 2014 and for MBA (Off Campus), it would be conducted on August 3, 2014. PU has advised the students interested in taking admission in PU to regularly keep themselves updated through the University website www.puchd.ac.in
