In an unfortunate road accident, Nandamuri Hari Krishna’s elder son and actor Kalyan Ram’s elder brother Nandamuri Janakiram has passed away. The accident took place on Saturday when Janaki Ram was on his way to Vijayawada from Hyderabad. According to reports, Janaki Ram was driving the car. Janaki Ram was said to be alone in the car. The car (Tata Safari AP 29 BD 2323) apparently rammed into a tractor at a danger-road turn near Akupamula village in Munagala Mandal in Nalgonda district. Soon after the accident, Janaki Ram was initially rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to a private hospital in Kodada. But due to severe injuries he is said to had succumbed to the injuries and pronounced dead as his pulse was not heard of. Police have confirmed the reports. According to cops, tractor was reportedly coming in the wrong-route. The incident come as a major shock to Nandamuri family, fans and Telugu film industry. Janakiram is survived by wife, a son and a daughter. Janakiram’s elder son is Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Janaki Ram had produced super hit Telugu film Athanokkade under NTR Arts banner. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh have expressed their shock and condoled Janaki Ram’s untimely death. Telangana Chief Minister KCR, AP leader of Opposition YS Jagan have also expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
But the cause of accident is because of the negligence of tractor driver who was trying to cross the road in wrong-route. The front part of Janakiram Tata Safari (AP29 BD 2323) had hit the back portion of tractor (tractor trolley) leading to fatal accident. Unfortunately, it’s a 2008 model Tata Safari which doesn’t have option of air bags.
The accident site has a danger curve from where tractor was coming in wrong route and naturally, no one expects any vehicle from that side, said locales. Bad light also said to have played havoc.
Doctors Janardhan and Satyavathi who completed postmortem revealed the cause of death. They said Janaki Ram suffered cardiac arrest when car streeing hit him hard. Even some bones broke due to the intensity of the hit. They said these two sudden incidents resulted in Janakiram’s death.
Going by doctors account one gets a feeling that Janakiram would have survived had he not got heart attack of he got medical assistance in time. Janakiram suffered fatal car accident yesterday at Akupamula, Munagala mandal, Nalgonda district.
Janakiram’s final rites will be held at Janakiram’s farm house in Moinabad. Earlier final rites were planned at Punjagutta burial ground by Harikrishna’s family members.
However in the last minute they changed their decision. As such JanakiRam’s farewell will start at afternoon 2 PM from Harikrishna’s house at Masab Tank and will reach farm house by evening 4 PM.Later his final rites will be performed in his farm house.
Actor-Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has conveyed his condolence message to Nandamuri family as it lost its one of their family members in a fatal car accident. In a single-sentence message, Pawan Kalyan said, “My heartfelt condolences to Harikrishna gariki, Kalyan Ram gariki, Jr NTR gariki and rest of the family members on the tragic loss.”
Although Pawan share great bond with Nandamuri and Nara families as he event campaigned in support of TDP-BJP combine in recent general elections, he couldn’t personally make it. Pawan Kalyan is presently shooting for his much-awaited film Gopala Gopala in Varansi and hence unable to personally visit Harikrishna and convey his condolences. Ram Charan too conveyed his condolence message and prayed for Janakiram saying, “May his soul rest in peace.”
