Legendary actor ANR national awards event was being held in a grand way today, where the red carpet went glittering with stars walking in.
Amitabh Bachchan graced the ANR Awards 2014 event along with Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Actress Samantha and Rakul Preet Singh turned the attraction with their gorgeous attires. Akkineni family is hosting the event and young heroes Akkineni Akhil, Naga Chaitanya, Sumanth, Sushanth and Daggubati Rana were seen receiving the guests.
Telangana CM KCR attended this ANR Awards 2014 event along with national leader K Venkaiah Naidu and T Subba Rami Reddy. Other who graced the ANR Awards 2014 event are Vamsi Paidipalli, Jayasudha, Tanikella Bharani, Rajendra Prasad, Babu Mohan, Silpa Reddy, Paruchuri Brothers, Murali Mohan, Brahmanandam, Suresh Babu.
The award was given away in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking on the occasion, Bachchan said, “It is a privilege to be a part of this industry. It is stalwart like ANR who has given the film industry dignity, respectability and grace.”
Actor Nagarjuna, son of ANR, said his father had the highest regard for Bachchan’s work in the film industry.
Bollywood Mega Star-Big B Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at CM Camp Office in Begumpet. Amitabh Bachchan, who is in city to receive ANR National Award constituted by ANR International Foundation, formally met KCR as a courtesy call and congratulated him for his success in achieving the new state of Telangana.
Amitabh Bachchan’s meeting with KCR has wondered many and set tongues wagging in tinsel town. Especially, Amitabh’s meeting with KCR comes close on the heels days after his visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Amitabh, the former member of Congress, quit politics sometime back. However, he maintains friendship with politicians cutting across party lines.
