BRUNSWICK | A former funeral home will become a place where recovering women can start their lives anew.

Grace House, a recovery service for women who have completed drug and alcohol rehabilitation, bought an old Victorian house on Gloucester Street Thursday that has been home to Edo Miller and Son Funeral Home, an antique store and a physician’s office.

As many as 16 women will live in the new quarters as they get jobs and work together to stay clean and sober, Grace House director Linda Lowe said.
