WARNER ROBINS, GA. | A 16-year-old girl was killed in the crash of an all-terrain vehicle in central Georgia, authorities say.
The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. Friday in Houston County, The Telegraph of Macon reported.
Houston County sheriff’s officials say the ATV was being driven by 17-year-old Joshua Ryals of Warner Robins when it tipped over as he attempted to make a turn.
Authorities said Ryals and 16-year-old Theresa Bridges of Warner Robins were thrown from the vehicle. They said Ryals was seriously injured, and Bridges died Friday night at a hospital.
