Life is full of surprises and GRAMMY® winning artist, speaker, songwriter, author and worship leader Laura Story can testify to that. In the April 2011 release of Blessings, Laura saw an overwhelming response to her songs inspired from the diary entries of her life. The RIAA Certified Gold title track of the album, "Blessings," picked up a GRAMMY® Award for Best Contemporary Christian Song, a Billboard Music Award and multiple Dove Awards. In a fitting follow-up to her impactful record comes the release of Laura’s next chapter, God Of Every Story, available September 30. The album showcases Laura’s powerful ability to tell stories and encourage and inspire others through her music. Such is the case in the lead single “I Can Just Be Me,” an honest and personal track on being broken and finding comfort in God. The "Story Behind the Song" video for "I Can Just Be Me" is available here.

"God of Every Story is a collection of songs about where God's love and grace intersect with our real life situations," explains Laura. "It’s about God working all things together for good and love always winning. It’s a celebration of God's faithfulness, even when we don't always understand His plan this side of heaven."

Produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Steven Curtis Chapman), the 11-track album pulls from the personal stories of Laura’s life and the people around her. God Of Every Story evenly weaves together worship ballads like “You Gave Your Life" and "He Will Not Let Go" to more pop-energy tracks like “O Love Of God” and “There Is A Kingdom.” Written as a continued meditation to Laura’s impactful hit “Indescribable" (as made popular by Chris Tomlin), is "Keeper of the Stars," a deeply moving worshipful anthem that draws listeners to surrender to the One who holds all things together.

This week, Salem Media hosted an official album premiere announcing the title, release date and giving fans a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the album. The exclusive video, recorded at Laura's home church outside of Atlanta, GA, is available now on Godtube, CCM Magazine, Today's Christian Music and all FISH station websites in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Portland, Cleveland, Colorado Springs, Nashville, Sacramento, Omaha and Honolulu.

About Laura Story:
GRAMMY® award winning artist, speaker, songwriter, author and worship leader Laura Story has a gift for penning songs that connect with people all around the world. Among her successes as a solo artist with her smash hits “Mighty To Save” and “Blessings,” Laura has also penned hit songs for other renowned artists including Chris Tomlin’s “Indescribable.” Her music debut in 2008 with Great God Who Saves led to four Dove nominations and the award for “Inspirational Album of the Year.” In 2011, Laura released her sophomore project Blessings. The album and the emotionally powerful title was inspired by her real life trials and adversities, primarily her husband Martin's diagnosis of a brain tumor. The album resonated with a huge audience and led to whirlwind career highlights for Laura, peaking at the No. 1 album spot for three consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Contemporary Christian Overall chart, topping the iTunes® Christian/Gospel Top Songs chart and holding the No. 1 spot for an impressive 28 consecutive weeks on the Christian charts. The success of the single “Blessings,” which was certified RIAA Gold, includes the GRAMMY® Award for Best Contemporary Christian Song, the Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Song and the Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. The song inspired Laura's first book, “What If Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops?” in 2012. Two years since the release of Blessings comes Laura’s highly anticipated new record God Of Every Story out September 30, 2013. Laura is the worship leader at Perimeter Church outside of Atlanta, GA and lives with her husband Martin and her daughter Josie.
