As the Lead Designer you’ll be responsible for owning and managing all aspects of design with an emphasis on Product Design. You’ll assess the current design and designers, and plan a strategy for executing your vision while maintaining our roadmap and keeping up with current initiatives. This role has potential to be larger than the title for the right individual.
What you’ll be doing
Design jaw dropping interfaces, interactions, and experiences
Lead product and visual design
Stay current with all latest trends for design and interaction (all devices)
Inspire, mentor, and bring leadership to the entire team (not just design)
Recruit and build a strong team around you as we grow
Work efficiently with the engineering and product teams to execute seamlessly
What we’re looking for
4+ years experience in product/interactive design at either agencies or startups
A passion for creating the most well designed products on the internet
Self-motivated leader with a passion with the ability to multitask and a strong work ethic
A strong understanding of design principles and user experience
Not required, but appreciated (as long as it’s not a tradeoff for design quality) - HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Team - we're a small team of 11(currently). While a portion of the team works remote we're looking for a San Francisco (Bay Area) based individual to join the team as our Lead Designer, and work in our local office.
