The Sales Pitch:

We have had a lot of request for an extinguisher bracket for the 08+ WRX and STI from our track day and race car customers for quite some time now.

Well here is our solution:

The ASI Extinguisher mounting bracket is made of 1/4" thick aluminum making it strong enough for any extinguisher that will fit on it without flexing or cracking. The bracket is powder coated satin black for a clean look. Our bracket can be purchased separately and used with your extinguisher and quick release of choice. The area where the extinguisher mounts is 8" x 4".

While the bracket is available separately, it does come pre-drilled for a Safecraft quick release for use with a Safecraft Model PB Halon extinguisher available in Wrinkle Black, White, Red and Gloss Black.

The whole assembly mounts to the front two seat base bolts on the passenger side of the car, within easy reach of the driver if it is ever needed. There remains plenty of leg room for the passenger however the seat travel is limited and should be pushed back to prevent interference with the actual extinguisher. For daily driving, the actual extinguisher can be removed to provide more seat travel, but what is more important, the comfort of your passenger or preventing your car from bursting into flames?
