For sale is my '04 Subaru WRX STI in Java Black Pearl.

Miles: 89,300. I am the original owner of the car. I ordered and purchased this car in July of 2003 with a extended warranty. The engine is completely stock and has never been tuned or modified in any way.

This car was never dragged or auto crossed.

In March 2012 I purchased a FJ Cruiser and took the car off the road as I was planning on holding it and keeping it for long term. (Car was started once a week usually and left on a trickle charger in my garage.) This car was my daily driver for 9 years 89K miles and garaged all the time at my home. Due to financial reasons I probably should sell the car so I put the car back on the road in August 2014 to drive and get ready to sell, it’s been hard but I think I can finally part with the car.

Maintenance and History:

All of the work except oil changes were performed at Metric Subaru on Long Island and I will include paperwork.

I never had any motor issues with this car. No CEL lights etc.

I changed the oil using Castrol regular oil every 2,500k miles using genuine Subaru oil filters (I have a few new oil filters that will be included).

The timing belt has not been changed nor is it necessary until 105,000+.

Engine air filter was replaced every 20,000.

Cabin air filter was replaced at around 80,000.

All other fluids have been regularly maintained.

In March of 2005 I did scrape the front driver side quarter panel and rear driver side quarter panel during a snowstorm on a dividing wall but it was cosmetic damage only. I went through insurance and had everything repaired. (I can include the parts list from insurance).

Brakes:

At 70,000 miles the rotors began to wear and I replaced the stock brake pads and rotors with Brembo slotted rotors and Hawk HPS performance pads purchased through tirerack.com.

Tires and Wheels:

I have the stock BBS Silver wheels with the original Tires still on it.

I purchased Rota Torque 17” wheels that are slightly wider and use those mainly. As of now they have Falken tires. I have gone through only two sets of tires on this car.

Modifications and or add-ons:

Koyo Radiator 09/2005. Installed a Koyo all aluminum radiator and sold my stock one here on the forums.

Killer B Oil Recirculator. (Read the tube could break and starve the engine of oil. Not something I wanted to take a chance with.)

Deleted the Airbox silencer with a delete elbow.

Carbon Fiber Hood struts.

Battery tie down.

Red LEDs in Window Control Panel.

Modified Fog Light relay to turn fog lights on without main headlights.

Illumination changed to red with red bulb condoms on HVAC and Key area.

Factory Options:

Hood Protector.

Fog Lights. (Will include the original STi covers)

Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass and Home Link.

Center Console Armrest/Extension.

Added Rear Cupholders.

Carpet STi Logo mats.

All weather Subaru mats.

Cargo net in trunk.

Audio System:

Kenwood excelon KDC-X396 Head Unit

Kenwood KFC-P709PS 6-1/2” Component Speakers in front.

Kenwood KFC-1379ie 2-Way 5-1/4” Rear Door Speakers with Kenwood KFC-T204 Dome Tweeters in door.

Infinity 1060w 10” Sub in a Custom Sub Side mounted box with Grill.

Kenwood 4Ch Amp powering speakers.

Kenwood 2Ch Amp bridged in mono mode powering Sub.

Registration and Inspection:

Car was just recently re-registered and inspected in July 2014 in NY.
