Hello folks at IWSTE forum. Like the title says, I'm selling my 07 WRX TR. I hold the title (clean), the car has 39,xxx miles, and lots of proffesionally installed mods. I'll try and list them all based on memory/receipts. First, a bit about me and the car.

I was introduced to WRXs through the purchase of an 2003 wagon. Had a few mods, was amazing and fun to drive. So, I thought I'd get a new one, and build it up. I intended to get into autocross, but took up paragliding at about the same time I purchased the vehicle I'm selling (07), so subsequently spent most of my time and energy with that, and never raced the car. In fact, it ended up being a fun but ridiculous 'commuter.' The wife and I lived in the mountains, so the all wheel drive was handy. Our house was approxiamately 60 miles from seattle (and work), so most of the miles are legitimate freeway miles. OK... Feel free, of course, to pm me with any questions, or post them here and I'll try and answer them. Thanks for having the site and allowing me to post my ad, for the meager cost of my donation. I appreciate it, and hope you are all well. OK... the ad;

All the modifications, dyno testing and tuning were performed by PRE (performance race engineering) in Portland, Or. I am not a representative of this shop and only affiliated with them as a satisfied customer. The build took place between 6k and 10k miles.

About 6 months ago, someone hit the front drivers side, and the resulting damage was to the front quarter panel and front driver side wheel. The quarter panel was replaced profesionaly and wheel swapped out to be a full size spare. I don't have pics of the damaged wheel, but will try and get those up ASAP. Damage was pretty light (it was a Toyota Aveo), nothing structural and replaced/fixed to new condition. I mention this in the interest of disclosure. Not sure if it appears on the car fax or not.

Back to the car... When first built and tuned, it made 392WHP and the same Ft/lbs of torque. Subsequently backed it down to have two maps (both 92octane) of 350WHP and 305WHP. I think I can get the dyno printouts by emailing PRE, but I suspect a sub enthusiast would find the numbers entirely consitant with the claims. I also have a new (unopened in box) Corbeau 5pt for the passenger seat, and 5 Nokian Hakkepalita studded snow tires that have about 5k miles on them, from one winter. Honestly, the snow tires were overkill, and even in ice, felt merely like driving on wet pavement.

Like I mentioned, I got into foot launched aviation at about the time I finished the build, and between that and work, never had a chance to autocross or really do anything other than daily driving (albeit very fun daily driving). Made it to Pacific Raceway one evening, with the intention of running a couple 1/4 miles, but showed up to late and ended up just watching. That was as close to any track time as I got. The clutch/flywheel/brakepads/rotors were all done around the same mileage (34k). I've never had a problem with the 5 speed grinding or being too weak in general to accomodate the HP. The car has always been garaged, oil changes/dif/trans fluid done mostly ahead of schedule, because it was kinda my baby, and I haven't really driven it enough in the last few years to exceed the mileage recomendations on oil changes and such. So I've just been having the oil changed every 5 or 6 months or so.

A couple more pics can be viewed in the 07 WRX TR album on my profile. PM me with any questions. Mods, I read the rules regarding 'for sale' posts, and to the best of my knowledge, this conforms with them. My sincerest apologies if I overlooked anything. Please let me know, and I will change it immediately. Thanks for looking. Drive safe, everyone...
