CLAUDIA DEMONTE, Artist, Curator, will be featured in a new exhibit entitled, “Making Her Mark” at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT beginning with a reception on Sunday, April 17, 2-4pm. The exhibition will run April 17- June 5, 2016.

JANICE ELLIG, Co-CEO – Chadick Ellig, Inc., moderated, and PAM CRAIG, Former Chief Financial Officer -Accenture, was a panelist, at a New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) Business Partners Roundtable on “Gender Diversity in the Board Room.” LINDA WILLETT, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary -Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, an NJPAC Board member, planned and introduced the Roundtable that also included Stephen Holmes, CEO Wyndham Worldwide, Mike Fucci, Chair of the Board, Deloitte, and Peggy Foran, Chief Governance Officer, Prudential Financial. This Roundtable was attended by more than 170 people from across New Jersey business sectors as well as New Jersey International Women’s Forum members.

CAROLE FEUERMAN, President – The Second LSC, Ltd., Feuerman-Cohen LLC, had two solo shows at Art Basel & Art Miami. The art can now be seen at Markowicz Gallery in Miami. She returned from Asia, where her show traveled to three museums in Hong Kong, Daejeon and Suwon City. Next it will travel to the National Museum in Taipei. Two sculptures can be seen on Poydras Corridor in New Orleans through 2017. Five shows are upcoming; April 15th is her solo show at the Deland Museum of Art in Florida, April 24th a show at

SARAH FRANK, Media Consultant, produced HOOP SHOTS, a special exhibition of historic and contemporary basketball photos for BMO, MasterCard and the NBA at All-Star Weekend in Toronto. One part of the exhibition was a Tribute to Dr. James Naismith on the 125th Anniversary of his invention of the game. The reaction to HOOP SHOTS from NBA officials, team owners, All-Star players, the media, guests and Dr. Naismith’s grandson was tremendous! Curated by renowned photo historian Gail Buckland, HOOP SHOTS is based on her upcoming book and exhibition, WHO SHOT SPORTS: A PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY 1843 to the PRESENT, which premiers at Brooklyn Museum in July, travels to US museums and then to The Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

BARBARA FRIEDMAN, Consultant for Career Development/Industry Relations – LIM College, in partnership with LIM College will be hosting a Fashion Foundation Luncheon and Fashion Show of designer Carmen Marc Valvo’s collection on Friday April 8th, 11:30 am- 2:30 pm at The Terrace Club, 25 West 51st Street, New York, NY 10019. NADINE HACK, CEO – beCause Global Consulting and Former Executive-in-Residence, IMD Business School, is one of seven people to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award in Trust after several years named one of Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior. She is featured in a Forbes article as an agent provocateur who asks the tough questions organizations and their leaders must face. She is also featured in a new Bloomsbury book, Leading Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise.

LOU HAMMOND, Chairman/Founder – Lou Hammond & Associates, Inc., and her firm, Lou Hammond and Associates won 17 awards at the annual Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) prestigious Adrian Awards. The agency continued their tradition of multi-wins including seven gold, eight silver and two bronze in the public relations category. In all, the agency had 16 different clients win awards. HSMAI presented the awards at the annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala – a black tie dinner held February 16th at the New York Marriott Marquis, which was attended by nearly 1,000 industry marketing executives. These awards were handed out as part of the 2015 HSMAI Adrian Awards Competition, the largest and most prestigious travel event of its kind in the world, now in its 59th year. This year’s contest attracted over 1,300 global entries judged by experts from all sectors of the industry.

FRANCINE LEFRAK, President & Founder, Same Sky – President, LeFrak Productions, announces that Same Sky was honored by the UN Women for Peace on March 4th. Francine accepted the award on its behalf. In addition, on Saturday, March 5th Annual March in March was held in honor of international women’s day and to stop violence against women.

MARCY SYMS, Former Chairman & CEO – SYMS Corporation, will moderate a panel for the AFP, The Association of Fundraising Professionals, the event is entitled Meet the Grantmakers: The Art of Getting on Their Radar and Staying There at the Scandanavia House on Park Avenue in New York City. Marcy will also co-chair the WCC Centennial Spirit Awards from 6-9 pm at the University Club celebrating 100 years of the Women’s City Club of New York serving all communities of women in the five boroughs. SALLY YERKOVICH, Director – Institute of Museum Ethics at Seton Hall University, will have her book published on March 31st, entitled “A Practical Guide to Museum Ethics.” Ethical questions about museum activities are legion, yet they are usually only discussed when they become headlines in newspapers. Grounded in a series of case studies, A Practical Guide to Museum Ethics confronts types of ethical dilemmas museums face and explores attempts to resolve them.
