Why should I join?
It’s a color festival, a fun run like no other, and a party rolled into one. It’s like that party but you wake up early for it, and never regret. The fun does not start at the finish line where you hear the bands. The party starts when you hear Gun Start. We literally have the most colorful confetti ever. And yes, just look at the photos of the previous runs, and the testimonials from all the crazy people who joined the madness. Yes, the photos paint this clean-fun madness!
I am not a runner, why should I join?
And well, why don’t you try new things? It isn’t just about being in an event, it’s about trying new things. Best experienced with friends, since this is one social activity. Besides, this is not your usual fun run, not a competition. This is a fun run. Who knows, this might actually be the event to encourage you to even take the sport more seriously, and we’ll be seeing you more in crossing the finish line with the macho and well-toned athletes!
I’m a runner, I eat fun runs for breakfast. How is this different from the others?
I suppose that you don’t train every day at race pace, right? Or else, that would make your muscles cry out. It isn’t always a competition, and maybe for you to love the sport as long as you can still run, you have to always recall how fun running is. So it’s time to probably encourage your non-runner friends and introduce to them this sport through this event. You’ll never know who among them would actually be your next serious training buddy! I don’t have friends and this seems like a fun party, should I still join?
Of course you do have. It’s impossible that you don’t. No man is an island. Extend the invitation to your niece, your mom or your dad or your brother, or your sister’s friend, or your college seat mate or officemate. This is really one fun event made for both extroverts and anti-social like you! See the photos of our previous events and you will see people from all sorts of forms and sizes, and ages!
THE RUN
How is it gonna go on the race day?
The entire time that you are running, from the gun start, we would start exploding powder on you. You will be passing by color stations along the route. Each station has a specific color assigned. We’ll make sure you will get all the happiest colors of the rainbow (yellow, blue, green, purple, orange). At some point, you will be like an Avatar, and at the next point, you will look like Hulk. It is like that fun movie scene where they have a food fight in the kitchen, but using colored flour. It’s so fun, you will actually forget you are in a race! The next thing you will notice is that you have finished 3K/5K/10K! Afterwards, the party does not stop at the race route. We’ll let you blend well with the crowd with cool music from our DJs!
Sounds cool! Wait, what do I do before the run?
Practice for your preferred category (3K, 5K, 10K). Run, run kapag may time. Again, this is not a race, so you need not to worry about stopping for breaks or dancing in the streets. We want you to enjoy it and we will wait for you at the finish line. Just please don’t take the entire morning because the 11AM sunshine is gonna hurt. Since we’re allocating all the fun for the powder, we won’t be able to supply you with sunblock lotion for that!
So I can walk?
Yeap! Just enjoy being a part of the kaleidescope! This is the happiest fun run you’ll ever be in! It’s a race, but not a competition! We just want your full energy!
On the day itself..
Wear a white Color Manila shirt! Or that white shirt that you’d like to be rainbow-colored afterwards! It would take time to really have it off, so you kinda have to think that it’s gonna be the new design of that shirt.
Wear goggles or the foldable shades that we’ve given upon registration to protect your eyes and so that you’d keep rolling/ dancing/ running!
Ooh. So much color then. Do I get a special immunity to avoid all that? I’m kinda vain e, hehe.
Uhh nope. Even the street will get the colored rain. No color, no fun! Come on, we invite everyone, except the KJs! We saw a lot of vain people last year who even dressed up as if they were going to a rave party but they voluntarily rolled on the streets just to get more of the the excess colorful powder on them.
Fine. It sounds fun anyway. Just asking for vanity’s sake. Anyway, how do I manage the color after the party and all that hyper mode?
Two things: First, you will get the happy-spirit fever. It’s hypnotizing and spreadable. Second, as everyone literally spreads happiness, their colors are also transferred from one person to another. Expect that everything you will touch afterwards will turn colorful as well. So bring extra plastic or newspaper for your car seats, and tell the people in your house to expect that you will be shaking off some of Tinkerbell’s powder and you might want to prepare a broom for that.
Can I avoid the colors?
Uhh nope. Even the street will get the colored rain. No color, no fun! Come on, we invite everyone, except the KJs.
THE COLOR
What is that made of? It’s safe, right?
Of course it is. It wouldn’t be fun if it were hazardous to health. The powder is made from flour that we order from pastry suppliers. We enhanced it with some food coloring that has no preservatives or anything so it does not have any effect on your health. (It would not make you fat nor would make your skin wrinkle or so) It will brighten the color of your aura, but never darken any of your health aspects.
Tips to Remove Color Powder
– Wash off the colours with COLD WATER.
– You may use oil to gently remove residue in your skin.
– If colour is stubborn, rub sliced lemon over the skin to remove the stains. Leave it for 15 minutes and apply plenty of moisturiser after that.
– DO NOT rub vigorously! Be gentle on your skin. Don’t worry too much ‘cause the stain will go away but irritated skin might take a while.
– If you want to remove oil paint from your face, coconut oil can be used. Make sure to use cotton in applying oil on your face and rinse it off gently with both hands.
– If you want to remove colour powder from your head, never make the mistake of pouring water to wash it off! This will spread the colour all over your body. You need to try to dust away the colour powder by using dry hands first, then wash off with water.

You mean, the next steps to register? You can either buy tickets at partner registration sites or do an online registration with your credit card. Run (yes starting from now your head should be simulating the rush of the fun) to the nearest reg hubs : Toby’s, Runnr , SM Cinemas and pay the fee of Php 850. (See “How to Register”)
Woah wait, Php850, that’s like a yummy buffet or a nice dress or something else. What’s included in the Php 850?
This includes a finisher medal, a fashyown shirt and foldable shades (that comes with a pouch) that you’d want to wear on your casual days, and some color packet. At the finish line, a party awaits the crowd, and you will be given freebies. So it’s the running, the party, the goodies, and entire experience. All packed in Php850.
